Looking forward to it!

Here are some infos in Swedish language by the promoter:

Legendariska Michael Rother kommer till oss den 18 maj 2024! Under denna unika kväll kommer Rother spela favoritspår från sin gedigna karriär, bland annat musik från NEU!, Harmonia, och egna verk. Biljettsläpp via Tickster.com onsdag 31 januari kl. 10.00 CET ??

@michael__rother var med i Kraftwerk 1971 och bildade NEU! (med Klaus Dinger) och Harmonia (med Hans-Joachim Roedelius och Dieter Moebius från Cluster). Happy New Year!

Grateful for the melodies of 2023. As I stroll into the new year,

I'm reminded that life's symphony is sweeter when shared.

Here's to making new friends along the road, both human and feline 🐾

In these challenging times where we mostly feel helpless and overwhelmed

witnessing the horrors of wars and the suffering of so many innocent people,

the least we can do is stick together with kindness and compassion.

1st Anniversary of As Long As The Light

Our album As Long As The Light came out one year ago today. A welcome occasion

for some  celebrations and reflection.

Vittoria Maccabruni´s and my project started in 2020 when I came to Pisa, Italy, and we talked about her musical ideas. In the beginning, we didn´t even think of creating something for an official release but our collaboration developed such a dynamic that it simply carried us forward, from one compositional idea and sound treatment to the next, until it gradually dawned on us that an album was actually coming together.

Groenland Records, the home of NEU!, Harmonia and my solo albums, was enthusiastic to release our album, and we were also lucky that a number of very creative artists and friends supported us by contributing wonderful artwork, photos, mastering, videos and texts for the album sleeve.

A heartfelt Thank You! from us again to all of them and to the fans for their warm comments and the encouragement to continue with our project. It means the world to us.

Happy New Year!

My very best wishes to you all for a year filled with joy and many inspirations.

I wish to thank you for the heartfelt messages of support and good wishes which you sent me after I was forced to undergo a pit stop for maintenance. I intend to return to playing live in the near future, so please keep your eyes open for announcements.

My special thanks go to everyone who has helped me create and perform music: my partner Vittoria Maccabruni as well as Hans Lampe and Franz Bargmann who joined me to play my music on stages around Europe in 2022. A huge 'Thank You' also to all the fellow musicians whose great contributions made the NEU! anniversary year even more special.

I extend my wishes to all the people around the world who are troubled by worries and whose life and freedom are threatened by forces of evil and cruelty.

Peace, safety and prosperity for everyone!

to which I contributed a track called 'Strip 30' in memory of Dieter 'Möbi' Moebius, my friend

and former collaborator in Harmonia.

Info by Curious Music:

Moebius Strips is an audio installation based on the sounds and music of Dieter Moebius (Cluster, Harmonia, Eno). The project features contributions from a group of artists who have been influenced by Moebius’ work as well as former collaborators, adding our voices to the “strips” to create new and ever-evolving layers on the installation soundstage.

Happy 2021!

Thank you all for your friendship in this past difficult year and your kind remarks about my new album!

I read every single message and really appreciate them.

I wish everyone, especially those who have suffered a loss and are experiencing a troubled time, all the best

for a happy and healthy year 2021, love and peace!

And here, in an echo of better times which will hopefully come again soon, you see me being silly

and working on new music :)
